Welcome to Includability! Diversity in Recruitment has become an Official Partner

Includability is delighted to announce Diversity in Recruitment has become an Official Partner.

Who are Diversity in Recruitment?

The social enterprise, headed by Founder, Jo Major joins over 50 other Includability partners committed to a truer form of equality in the workplace.

Jo has over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry behind her. Her work has helped to grow businesses, schools, charities and enterprises. She has developed strategic CSR, Social Mobility & D&I programmes that build and improve recruitment agency culture, engage employees, attract underrepresented talent and make recruitment businesses better places to work and partner with.

She founded Diversity in Recruitment because of her absolute drive to get D&I on the agenda of recruitment businesses, no matter what their size and capacity – Jo believes that the industry has the opportunity to influence and lead real change.

On working with Includability, Jo said: “There are many recruitment businesses doing the work to make what they do more inclusive and really break down the barriers often experienced by underrepresented candidates. To enable them to be part of the Includability network feels like such a positive step forward, you can see it’s not just another ‘diversity job board’ it’s an entire ecosystem set up to guide recruitment business on their D&I journey. It’s access to experts that support real change and a platform to enable our industry to move beyond good intentions.”

Why Diversity in Recruitment is a fantastic member of our Includability Community?

David Holby-Woliski, Customer Success Director at Includability, said, “We’re just so thrilled to welcome Diversity in Recruitment as an Official Partner and fell in love with Jo’s passion from the very start – what an amazing addition this fantastic company is to our Includability Family! Jo’s knowledge and experience will support so many within our community and we are delighted to be working in partnership with her.”

Includability is more than a job board. It aims to provide inspiration and action for positive change in the workplace. The vision to be the number one job platform of choice for employers and job seekers and to positively contribute towards a society that is free from discrimination will be achieved through clear communication, collaboration and decisive action.

Includability is a platform centred around community. It has been developed to raise expectation, increase employer accountability and create a new standard for what a job board should deliver through engagement, collaboration and regularly sharing best practice.

Paul Smith, Founder of Includability, said: “As a community of like-minded people, we are proud to be partnered with Diversity in Recruitment. Change must happen, action is not optional, it’s essential. Includability has been created predominantly out of frustration, but with a great deal of pride and hope. Hope that we can play a part in going some way to eliminating the fear of discrimination from a job seeker thought process, the hope that we can help organisations bridge their employee’s education gaps and build their knowledge, and by removing the competitive element from all of our partners, we passionately believe that best way to succeed is by working together, engaging, collaborating and inspiring each other. It’s time to stand up, speak out and be a game changer. If not now, when?”
