Includability, creating partnerships through community trust and expertise

Bristol Global Mobility becomes the latest Includability Committed Employer to form business relationships with other Includability Official partners thanks to our expanding community services.

The international talent relocation service connected with Includability via recommendation from our Official Partner, Planet Mark. The synergy came easily as Bristol’s ethos of “Connection versus Control”, where employees are placed with companies that they form an authentic connection with rather than just for economic reasons, overlaps with Includability’s pillars of working with genuinely inclusive employers and looking after employee wellbeing.

With Bristol Global Mobility taking a greater interest in sustainability, Dominic Offer, Director of Client Engagement and Sustainability at Bristol Global Mobility said Includability’s webinars and Employer Support Groups were helpful in facilitating connections with Official Partners, B1G1, Prosperah & The Workplace Mental Health Charter to level up their sustainability strategies for planet and people.

What is Bristol Global Mobility's new sustainability strategy?

Bristol Global Mobility began their push towards an evolved sustainability strategy in 2020 when they started working with sustainability accreditors, Planet Mark. As part of certification process, they were directed by the sustainability for business consultants to another Includability Official Partner, Just One, who helped with the work on their new strategies.

It was around that time they also wanted to make greater strides in their diversity and inclusion journey.

What attracted them to Includability, according to Offer, that it was “far more inclusive,” that other recruitment community groups. He added “Includability has a way of engaging with its members and it has a way of portraying a message”.

From there, Bristol agreed to become an Includability Committed Employer. Offer says undergoing the 5-Star Verification Process was an “honour” as the independent nature of the process made Offer feel they were walking the walk rather than just taking the talk.

Which Includability Partners have they utilised?

Offer initially met Alice Troiano, Co-Founder of Prosperah when she hosted a webinar on the topic of Contributing to The Bigger Picture with the UN SDGs for Includability. They connected on LinkedIn and spoke further about sustainability during our 5-Star Verification Process. Bristol now intends to use the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to inform their future direction.

Offer says he was also introduced to B1G1 through an Includability Employer Support group (ESG). He says they were attracted to the philanthropic enterprise because they are global, easily integrated into a business strategy and says their unique “will be important to the future of project giving because they are specific about what money can be used in certain ways”.

Bristol Global Mobility also joined The Workplace Mental Health Charter after hearing Founder, Michael Lloyd guest speaking at one the Includability webinars. The organisation now has two qualified mental health first-aiders – including Offer himself – since their initial meetings.

Bristol Global Mobility intends to share its sustainability strategy publicly so that others can benefit from it and any progress will be transparent. They are also looking to reduce their carbon footprint and will look to track their progress in conjunction with Planet Mark. The data obtained will be reported in summary updates and shared with clients, suppliers and competitors.
