Includability – The Home of Inclusive Employers is delighted to release our impact report covering our first year of operation from June 2021-2022.

The 16-page report documents our achievements of our first full year of operation covering our sustainability impacts from a people and planet perspective and touches on our wider aims of integrating diversity &inclusion, mental health and wellbeing, talent management and leadership and governance best practices into our wider definition of sustainability.

David Holby-Wolinski, Director at Includability said, “As a purpose driven team we know we have a huge collective responsibility to make this world a better one for our children through positive social and sustainable impact. This year has taught us so much in how we can better serve our planet and our community – we’ve built our knowledge and been continually inspired by the utterly wonderful people and organisations that we partner with on a daily basis.
“What a journey it has been to reach this point - we are absolutely driven by the commitment we have made and of the work that is still to be done.”

What Did Includability Achieve in our first year?

In our first year, we have planted 5,785 trees though our partnership with Ecologi, Offsetting 13.2 tonnes of CO2e. Our partnership with Ecologi forms a large part of our commitment to become a climate positive workforce. That is why we will continue to support Ecologi into our second year and beyond.

One of our main achievements in our first year was making over 35,927 positive impacts to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a business, we directly impact Goal 1 - No Poverty, Goal 5 - Gender Equality, Goal 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 10 - Reduced Inequalities, Goal 13- Climate Action & Goal 16 -Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions. Thanks to our partnerships with the likes of B1G1 and others, we were able to provide 365 days of access of clean drinking water to communities in need in Vietnam - and contribute to thousands of projects like it. These partnerships have allowed us to impact all 17 SDGs and that is why we will continue to support B1G1 and all our sustainability partners.

We were able to achieve three of our major certification goals in our first year. We are certified Living Wage Employers, members of 1% For The Planet and we are signed up to the Better Business Act. We are also a B Corp Pending organisation. In our second year, we hope to achieve B Corp status, become Planet Mark certified and become certified as a carbon neutral business.

At its core, Includability is a purpose-led organisation that is focussed on community and development. We have over 40 Ambassadors, 60 Official Partners and 20 Includability Committed Employers that exchange best practice and raise sustainable standards for all.
