Role activities / responsibilities:
Month end reporting, including responsibility for:
- Intercompany accounting
- Various balance sheet accounts
- Reporting to US head office via Hyperion
- Production of management accounts and commentary
Statutory reporting and compliance, including;
- Supporting the year end financial audit
- Financial statement preparation
- Corporation tax payments, compliance and statutory returns
Internal controls compliance (Sarbox), including:
- Ensuring that internal control processes are in place and effectively monitored
- Responsibility for various ITGC processes
SAP B1 accounting system superuser, with responsibility for:
- Approving and revoking access
- Routine system changes
- Ad-hoc trouble shooting and general system support
Ad hoc project support
You will need:
- Be a qualified accountant with an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification
- Embrace, embody and exude all that is special and unique about Ella’s Kitchen
- Be driven and results orientated with a desire to achieve
- Have a willingness to throw yourself into a varied and busy role
- Have a strong attention to detail and an ability to work to deadlines with accuracy
- Have the ability to manage your workload around busy periods and key deadlines
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to speak to others in the business at all levels and deal with queries from external parties.
- Have really strong Microsoft Excel skills.

It would be nice if you had:
- Experience of working with SAP B1, Hyperion and COGNOS/TM1.
- A few years’ experience in a relevant role
